A great place to photograph hummingbirds in Arizona is Beatty’s in Ramsey Canyon. The picture of this White-eared Hummingbird was taken at the feeders there

A spectacular and distinctive flycatcher, the bright red Vermilion Flycatcher inhabits riparian areas and scrub in the southwestern United States and southward. Spent an amazing 12 days in Southeast Arizona photographing a variety of wildlife that inhabits this section of the United States. We stayed in a B&B right near the San Pedro River in Hereford, AZ and took day trips from there. Here is the Common Raven which looks so at home on the open desert scrublands.
