Brants are back

I love Jamaica Bay National Wildlife Refuge in the winter when the many ducks and geeses return in the hundreds and thousands.

This gal must have been expected a very important phone call as she was hanging out at this phone for quite a while.

Blackpoll Warbler

It is getting more difficult to get a picture of the fall migrating warblers as the season slows down. I was happy to be able to spend some time with a couple of Blackpoll Warblers in the maintenance yard in Central Park yesterday as they popped into view for moments at a time.
