The picture of this Bald Eagle taking off from an ice flow in the Hudson River was taken from Stony Point, NY. The picture of this Bald Eagle was taken with the CANON EOS7D and the CANON 100-400mm lens and the CANON 580EXII flash.

I made a couple of trips to view the Bald Eagles on the Hudson River. They are magnificent to see but really hard for me to get a good close up picture. I took this picture from Stony Point, New York which is on the West Side of the Hudson River.
