Stuyvesant Cove is a small local park in the East Village right on the East River. Much care is taken in the landscaping and excellent gardening and there are many wildflowers and special trees. These pictures were all taken with my macro lens on a hot Sunday afternoon. Select below for more information about Stuyvesant Cove

by Laura Meyers on Jul.20, 2009, under Butterflies, Insects, Macro Photography, Ward Pound Ridge
During the Summer months, the opportunity to photograph birds slows down for awhile and the butterflies and dragon flies are abundant. We are loving to go to Ward Pound Ridge in Westchester to photograph this beautiful creatures. We went to Ward Pound Ridge last Friday and practically had the park to ourselves.
