Green Heron

The picture of this Green Heron was taken at the Oceanside Nature Study Area in New York. The picture of this Green Heron was taken with the CANON EOS7D and the CANON 100-400 lens and the CANON 580EXII flash.
I don’t remember seeing a Green Heron perched like this. It is usually close to the ground in a skulking posture.
